Barbara Hodges is the author of: The Silver Anger, The Blue
Flame, The Emerald Dagger, Shadow Worlds, and contributing writer to Aleatory's Junction and Stargazer's Children
Dindy Robinson: is
the Publisher of Swimming Kangaroo Books. She has wanted to be a writer ever since she could hold a book in her hands and wrote her first book at the ripe old age
of six, a classic called THE DOG WHO MARRIED A WOMAN. Mercifully, no copies of this epic work remain. She now writes Science
Fiction under the name of Mari Atherton. She is in awe at the terrific writers with whom she works and would love to nurture
more authors to best selling status.
As Dindy gets older, she finds it easier to voice her opinion to friends
and to let them know when she disagrees with them. Some might say she’s getting downright cantankerous! All the stray
dogs and cats in the neighborhood know her as the Mother Theresa of animals because she has never met a stray she didn’t
instantly fall in love with and bring into her home menagerie. Her happiest success in that line was crawling down a storm
drain to rescue a stray hamster that had been chased down there by a very hungry cat. She and her husband, Bill, have been
blissfully married for 27 years and are now thoroughly enjoying the empty nest left behind when their two daughters moved
out.
Karina Fabian was born Karina Lumbert. She lived one of the seemingly rare childhoods, with loving parents in a happy
marriage and a terrific sister who was also a playmate and friend. A shy, and thus often lonely, child, she poured her energies
into study and graduated from South High in Pueblo in 1985 as Valedictorian and with honors from Colorado State University
in 1989. Her academic skills aren’t particularly impressive to her now, however, after having met so many far more brilliant
people who had average grades. Her husband is one of those people, and she’s constantly awed at how he thinks and what
he can remember.
